On Wednesday night, July 24th, Gwen Stefani had to pull the brakes on her “Just a Girl” residency show at Planet Hollywood’s Zappos Theater in Las Vegas. It has been reported that the reasoning behind her cancellation is due to illness.

On Tuesday night, July 23rd, Stefani took to her Instagram account on Tuesday night to let her fans know that she is too ill to perform, apologizing to anyone who was holding tickets for the gig and promising that she’ll try to get well and be back on stage by this Friday night, July 26th.

“I am so upset to share that I am unwell & will not be able to perform my Vegas residency show tomorrow night,” she wrote on Instagram. “I was so looking forward to seeing everyone & performing & wish I wasn’t feeling the way I do. To everyone who was coming to Wednesday’s show, I am so sorry. I am doing everything I can to be back on stage on Friday.”

Live Nation Las Vegas tweeted “feel better, Gwen!” and informed fans that refunds for Wednesday night’s show are available at point of purchase.

Friday’s gig is the last scheduled one in the current run of the show, with Stefani not scheduled to take the Zappos stage again until Oct. 11.
