Vince Staples, Anderson Paak and more slated for House of Vans’ Chicago Party Series

House of Vans is hosting some summer house parties in Chicago, and these are kick backs you don’t want to miss. The lineup for this summer’s house parties will kick off on May 31 with rapper Vince Staples and feature sets from The Breeders, Julien Baker, BANKS, Taking Back Sunday and more.

Keeping with the tradition of the series, the headliners will curate the bills by picking all the support acts as well as a creating a “personalized visual art experience for fans,” according to a statement announcing the 2019 lineup.

“Vans House Parties provides one-of-a-kind experiences for concertgoers combining music and art, personalized for fans by the headlining acts,” read the statement. Among the speical moments on tap for this summer is one of the only reunion shows by The Rapture, as well as a Vans Warped Tour tribute show by Taking Back Sunday.

This year’s shows will also feature interactive art takeovers, immersive installations and murals and one up-and-coming musician will be chosen by the headliner to open each Vans House Party show.
