Taylor Grey Announces Upcoming LA Show

Following her sold-out show at Hotel Cafe LA and the release of her EP GREY, the singer/songwriter Taylor Grey marks her return to Los Angeles. Taylor has just announced her upcoming performance at the 60’s inspired lounge Peppermint Club on Wednesday, March 27th, 2019. The 21-year-old has been sharing her time between the studio and classroom so much lately, that she is beyond ready to return to the stage. Even more excited to perform in such a one-of-a-kind music venue that has welcomed the likes of Lady Gaga, Usher, comedian Dave Chappelle, and the soulful Aloe Blacc to its stage. The place feels more like someone’s swank living room than a club, and that’s the intention that Taylor Grey plans to bring to this show.

Singer/songwriter Taylor Grey is an ebullient performer with a sound that touches upon lyrical, acoustic balladry and electronic-tinged pop anthems. A native of Northern California, Taylor became interested in singing at a young age, quickly began writing her own lyrics and eventually taught herself piano and guitar. Original songs soon followed, initially inspired by the classic sound of ’70s bands like the Eagles and later, by more modern artists like Ed Sheeran. After high school, she enrolled at Stanford University where she split her time between taking Psychology and Neuroscience classes and pursuing her solo music career.

The 21-year-old is a rising songwriter/performer whose vocal talent, drive and passion stand front and center on her latest EP GREY (Kobalt), as well as in her popular singles and lyric videos, “Back to Bite,” and “Poison.” Working closely with the award-winning, Josh Abraham (Justin Bieber, P!nk, Kelly Clarkson), and her go-to producer Oligee, who has recorded with some of pop’s biggest recording artists including Justin Bieber, Lindsey Stirling and Shakira. Together, they create such beautiful music that personifies pop trends in both her driving beats and sometimes whimsical and emotionally-driven storytelling.

Taylor’s music is filled with spontaneous introspection and is authentic and undeniably infectious. Her music reflects her various artistic passions and her ability to sing of self-awareness, love, and heartbreak while maintaining a soulful and rhythmic feel.
