This pat weekend, Thomas Rhett is slated to perform on SNL with some new material. He is said to appear as musical guest on the show’s March 2 episode, which also happens to be hosted by John Mulaney.
“Playing NEW MUSIC out 3/1 on @nbcsnl on 3/2 <— how is that sentence even real!?” he wrote on Instagram, where he shared a cute video of his daughter Willa Gray helping him announce the big news.
In the announcement, he promised to deliver “brand-new songs off the brand-new record” on Saturday Night Live. Rhett’s “Sixteen” recently became the fifth song off of his most recent album, 2017’s Life Changes, to top Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.
