This punk rock docuseries will focus on the music, art, fashion and overall misfit culture that defined the punk movement. Produced by John Varvatos and directed by Jessie James Miller in partnership with Derik Murray’s Network Entertainment, The series will include a soundtrack of punk hits and misses, original interviews with America’s punk pioneers and the U.K.’s most notorious bands. There will also be rare photos, archival film and videos.

“Exploring and reliving the history of punk has been an absolute labor of love for me,” said Varvatos in a press release announcing the series. “Punk’s ability to transcend generations in its culture, music, and style is a story that needs to be told. So…Hey Ho Let’s Go!!”

Johnny Rotten (Sex Pistols), Marky Ramone (Ramones), Debbie Harry and Chris Stein (Blondie), Duff McKagan (Guns N’ Roses) and more are among the prominent artists featured in Punk. “The Godfather of Punk,” Iggy Pop, has also joined the project as an executive producer and one of the artists featured in the series.

Punk rock’s rowdy, iconic movement will be revisited in the upcoming Epix docuseries Punk, set to debut on March 11, 2019.
