After struggling at the box office since the summer with attendance at 50 percent capacity or less, the show will play its final performance at the Hudson Theatre on January 6th.
While several Broadway shows are celebrating record-breaking weeks at the box office over Thanksgiving, Head Over Heels, the new musical built around songs by The Go-Go’s, has succumbed to months of slow sales, setting a January 6th as their closing date.

The show has posted a weekly gross of more than $300,000 only twice during its run, mostly playing to less than 50 percent capacity.
