Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ gets a Heavy Metal Mariachi Cover

Queen is one of the greatest, most popular bands in the history of the world because their music has proved timeless and universal. Their music transcends generations and cultures, and it also transcends genres. We’re not talking about how their own discography covers a number of musical style, we mean their music still rocks even when played in a totally different fashion. In other words, “Bohemian Rhapsody” still sounds epic when played by the “the world’s first and only heavy metal mariachi band.”

Metalachi, the musical/comedy group from Hollywood, CA (via Juarez, Mexico), released this fun, clown-filled video for their cover of the iconic Queen hit ahead of the the release of their third full-length album, Tres. Even though both the video and the song are played in a humorous manner, “Bohemian Rhapsody” is so, so good this will still have you banging your head like Wayne and Garth.
