AMA Nominees for Favorite Artist – Adult Contemporary

The American Music Awards will be announcing tonight who their favorite artist is for the Adult Contemporary genre. And this year, we have quite the star-studded nominees

Shawn Mendes

Mendes has had quite the success over the past few years. The Canadian singer and songwriter got his start on Vine back in 2013. And since then, has had #1 singles, a few successful albums and has sold out stadiums all over the world. Even though Mendes is the rookie in this category next to the other two nominees, this 20 year old has skyrocketed his way to the top.

Alecia Beth Moore (P!nk) has been credited for breaking boundaries and pushing the envelope throughout her career. She is regarded as the “most trailblazing artist” of her pop generation. With countless pop and contemporary hits, extremely successful tours and very loyal fans make her a force to be reckoned with.

Ed Sheeran

The English singer and song writer is another artist who crosses platforms. You could say Ed Sheeran is a crow favorite. Something about his music captivates his audiences. Which is why he has had such a successful tour with his latest album “Divide” which is up for an American Music Award as well.
