Thursday marked the start of the National League Divisional Series, NLDS.

First stop, Milwaukee where the Brewers played host the Colorado Rockies.  National League MVP candidate Christian Yelich comes up big with with a two run dinger in the third.  But the hero of the game award goes to Mike Moustakas who punches a walk off single into right in the bottom of the 10th.  Brewers take game one 3 to 2.  Game 2 from Milwaukee at 4:15 pm ET on FS1.

The second game of the NLDS tonight saw the Los Angeles Dodgers hosting the Atlanta Braves.  Everyone thought it was odd to see Hyun-Jin Ryu starting game 1 over Clayton Kershaw, but the Dodgers staff didn’t think so, and based on Ryu’s 7 scoreless innings makes you believe manager Dave Roberts made the right decision.  The Braves didn’t have a chance once the boys in blue got rolling.  Joc Pederson’s leadoff home run in the 1st got the ball moving followed up by Muncy’s 3 run blast in the 2nd.  The Dodgers went on to crush the braves 6 to 0.  Game 2 from Los Angeles at 9:37 pm ET on FS1.
