How About an Eddie Murphy Update?

Eddie Murphy is still working hard and has rumored to be signing on to director Tim Story’s upcoming comedy project, with details expected to be released later this fall. You may not know that Tim is the producer and muse behind the ‘Grumpy Old Men’ films. If you can think that far back, he original ‘Grumpy Old Men’ from 1983 featured Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon.

Eddie’s career has been the definition of ‘up and down.’ He’s was one of the most popular stars on ‘SNL’ and in standup, yet poor project choices and personal demons would throw him of the front page for years. Did you know that he was initially cast as a member of the film ‘Ghostbusters?’

Eddie did have two sings chart; ‘Party All The Time’ and ‘Put Your Mouth On Me,’ and is a family man with 9 children from 5 moms, including former Spice Girl, Mel B. His latest project is ‘Dolemite Is My Name’ a biopic from Netflix.
