Elton Brand Promoted to 76ers GM Position

Elton Brand played many years in the NBA before retiring in 2016 and since then he has accomplished quite a lot for himself. Spending just two years within the 76ers organization as a member of the front office staff, he has now been promoted to the General Manager position!

Current front office members from the Warriors, Rockets, and Jazz were also considered for this position but we’re guessing Brand’s familiarity with the franchise gave him a leg up over the others. Brand’s previous position with the team was executive vice president of basketball operations.
