Mastodon Manager Has Passed Away

Mastodon has been one of the great rock bands of the past 10+ years and just the other day they lost a key member of their team. Their manager, Nick John, who signed the band on 12 years ago, has passed away. John was suffering from pancreatic cancer and he succumbed to it on Saturday.

John worked with some big bands in his time including Mastodon, Slayer, and Gojira. All were better because of his work with them and you can tell because of the way they talk about him. Mastodon and Gojira both wrote a post for him on Facebook calling him not only their manager but their friend as well.

Our thoughts are with Nick John and his family and friends during this time.
