Departed Allman Brothers and Friends Final Resting Places

We probably never think about such things, but the final resting place of the Allman brothers Gregg and Duane, is being expanded at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Macon GA. Original Allman Brothers member Berry Oakley will also use this location as his eternal home. There are a few sources that indicate that the ashes of Butch Trucks would also be added to the family plot in a location near the brothers.

Duane was the first to leave this warm earth in October of 1971, Berry died in a similar fashion in November of 1972. 2017 was not kind to the family, as Butch Trucks passed away in January of 2017, then Gregg in May of the same year.
