Former “NCIS” stars Cote de Pablo and Michael Weatherly have been busy, planning on a reunion of sorts – no not as actors in an upcoming production, rather as executive producers on a drama series in development for a CBS project called “MIA.”
Cut from the same cloth in a dramatic setting, this upcoming series will deal with a homicide detective that is tasked with a straight laces partner to solve crimes in Miami. Michael and Cote were memorable in their roles as Ziva David and Anthony DiNozzo from the start of the “NCIS” series, beginning in 2001 until 2016. Cote’s character was killed by an assassin and Michael’s character left the show to enable the actor to star in his own series ‘Bull’ which also rand on CBS. The CBS project is currently in development with more news expected this fall.
