Pearl Jam Plays Historic Fenway Park, Dropping New LP

Peanut butter and jelly, sugar and spice, baseball and rock and roll – they’re all a perfect combination. In that vein, Pearl Jam will play some baseball or at least play on a baseball field this September, scheduled to play at the famed Boston’s Fenway Park as part of a summer/fall series of sports and rock, to be specific, Pearl Jam plays Fenway this September 2nd and 4th.

Pearl Jam has decided to drop an LP around the same time, a live vinyl version of their live concert at Boston’s Orpheum Theatre from 1994. ‘Live at the Orpheum Theatre — April 12, 1994,’ was performed and put to tape days after Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain’s death, so the LP has a great deal of sentential value to the band and fans.
