USC football is some of the biggest college football around and just this weekend they announced that true freshman JT Daniels would be their starting quarterback. He was one of the top recruits coming out of high school but there is always pressure to perform when putting on that uniform. They open up against UNLV on Saturday.
In preseason action, the Bengals beat the Bills 26-13 while the Cardinals won on the road against the Cowboys 27-3. Josh Allen did not look good under center for the Bills throwing for just 34 yards on 12 passing attempts.
There was some college football action on Saturday night. The most exciting game of the night was the Hawaii and Colorado State game where the road team (Hawaii) took a big lead early and held off the Rams 43-34.
