Disgraced former NBC ‘Today’ show host Matt Lauer has had to pick up the pieces of his life after being summarily being fired by the network for bad behavior, and the price tag of his actions continue to grow. This week we’ve learned that he’s agreed to pay his ex-wife over $20 million in a final settlement. Matt has kept a stiff upper lip about the whole affair, as he and wife Annette have three beautiful children, ages 17, 14 and 11.
If you think handing over $20 million in a divorce settlement is pricey, remember that Steve Wynn of Las Vegas ‘Wynn Hotel’ fame paid his ex-wife Elaine (the two were married, divorced, then married, then divorced again) $1 BILLION dollars in a divorce in 2010. Robert Murdoch paid his ex-wife Anna Maria around $1.7 BILLION after 31 years of marriage years ago.
