Reba to Be Honored by the Kennedy Center

The Kennedy Center Honor is one of the most prestigious awards anyone can receive, given to those who have distinguished themselves in the arts, science, political and business world. We’re thrilled to announce that Reba McEntire will be amongst those honored this fall, along with Cher, jazz saxophonist Wayne Shorter, with special honors will be given Lin-Manuel Miranda and Philip Glass (Hamilton creators).

Yes, we often think of Tom Hanks, the band the Eagles and other stars as honorees at the Kennedy Center, but did you know that the Kennedy Center has honored great country stars like Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, George Jones, and Loretta Lynn?

Raise your glass to Reba, Philip, Wayne, Cher, and Lin-Manuel, this year’s Kennedy Center Honorees, with the ceremony taking place in late fall, and airing on December 26th on CBS.
