Cardi B Kicks Back

2018 is becoming the year for our favorite stars to either be suing someone or being sued by someone. Names like Ed Sheeran, Dr. Dre, and R. Kelly are just a few of those who have been in legal “trouble” recently. Just the other day we told you about Cardi B being sued and now there’s more to it.

Cardi B is now embroiled in a legal matter with her former manager Klenord “Shaft” Raphael. Klenord served as Cardi B’s manager in 2014, filing a lawsuit for $10 million for alleged breach of contract after being dumped. It’s the typical music/Hollywood scenario; the manager gets fired when the star makes it big.

Cardi B has now filed a counter-suit complaining he was far too controlling on a personal and business front, and that the original legal action is frivolous. Cardi B is suing for $15 million. She’s fighting back though as she has since partnered up with a new management team, a firm called Quality Control.
