Neil Diamond is one of many stars that have called it quits from the toils of touring after making music for nearly 50 years. This August 17th, he’s releasing ‘Hot August Night III,’ which is a collection of tunes taken from his August 2012 concert in Los Angeles at the Greek Theatre.
To wet your appetite for the upcoming ‘Hot August Night III’ release, Neil has released a really cool video that features him singing his most patriotic song: “America.” The original ‘Hot August Night’ is celebrating its 40th Birthday this year, and this upcoming II LP contains 33 songs, all the hits you love from Neil. Recently he spoke of his grandmother coming to this country over 100 years ago from overseas, and the story is as heartwarming as they come.
