Queen Latifah Will Star at This Year’s Essence Festival

One of the more interesting artists that has been visibly absent from the bright spot light in recent years has been Queen Latifah; now we hear she’ll be in stage for spectacular 3 day Essence Festival, July 6th, 7th, and 8th, at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans. Our last Queen Latifah sighting was back on July 11, 2016 in New York for the VH1’s Hip Hop Honors at David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center.

The Queen will join Janet Jackson, Erykah Badu, Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Snoop Dog, Doug E Fresh and more. The three-day Essence Festival will take place July 6-8 in the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans. The festival is more than music – it’s networking, seminars, discussion and action plans put together by the fans and coordinators.
