Danica Patrick to Host This Year’s ESPYs

This year’s ESPYs are taking place on July 18 from Los Angeles, California and it’s going to be a groundbreaking one. For the firs time ever, a woman will be hosting the award show! People will obviously be talking about the great plays and moments from the past year, but they’ll also be talking about Danica Patrick as their host.

The former NASCAR driver has been a trailblazer for years, securing many firsts in her time as a driver. The previous host for this one has been Peyton Manning as well as Samuel L. Jackson before that.

Congratulations to Danica Patrick on this honor!
