Here’s Your Tina Turner Update

A few weeks ago, we shared the news that Tina Turner showed up in London to celebrate the musical based on her life story, and now there are plans for a lengthy documentary, again based on her life, will begin filming on set this summer.

The documentary will be directed by a set of accomplished Oscar and Emmy talents. Like every good documentary, there will be interviews with her and musical peers, friends, family and record executives.

The film will offer never been seen before concert footage and backstage access to Tina’s life. Turner’s current husband Erwin Bach a music mogul is on board as one of the film’s executive producers. You know that there has already been an Oscar nomination for the 1993 film ‘What’s Love Got to Do with It.’
