Our All-Time Favorite Motown Hits

Motown was more than a sound, more than a genre of music that dominated the 60s. Barry Gordy started the Motown music label in the early 60s after leaving his boxing career. The Motown artists included the Supremes, Temptations, Four Tops, Jr. Walker, Rare Earth, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, Smokey Robinson, the Commodores and later artists like Lionel Richie and Rick James. Here are our all-time favorite Motown songs that were less than famous, but still made us turn it up to ’11.’
