Where to Find Doo-Wop This Summer

Although the world seems to have passed Doo-Wop by, you can still find real music in America, all you have to do is look, or let us do the work for you. In New York City’s legendary Beacon Theater, the 11th annual Ultimate Doo-Wop Show gets underway June 23rd, featuring The Coasters, Joey Dee, The Marvelettes, the Shades of Blue, Willie Winfield & The Harptones, Lou Christie, Jay Siegel’s Tokens, and the total cast from “The Signal: A Doo Wop Rhapsody. Tickets for the night range between $50 and $90 per.

Earlier in June, you can visit Lancaster, Pennsylvania for the Doo Wop Cavalcade June 16th at the American Music Theater in Lancaster. Scheduled to appear will be the original lead singer of The Shirelles, Shirley Alston Reeves, Randy & The Rainbows featuring Randy Safuto and The Knockouts, and The Brooklyn Bridge.
