Huey Lewis is a Warrior

We were hoping to hear better news about one of our favorite singers Huey Lewis who has cancelled his 2018 tour, battling Meniere’s Disease an ear disorder that gives him dramatic hearing loss and distortion, along with massive headaches. Huey has been quoted as saying the sound he hears mimics that of a jet engine, and the early treatments have been less than successful.

Meniere’s Disease can cause tinnitus and ear pressure, vertigo, and tremendous hearing loss – certainly not what a singer with perfect pitch and pipes wants to hear. He’s been working the Starkey Hearing Foundation on experimental technology in the hopes of finding relief.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Huey, an incredibly talented rocker who has a reputation of being a terrific dude.
