In rock and roll there have been only a handful of bands that have cultivated loyal fans that envy the fans of Judas Priest and Deep Purple. These two bands did take different roads to stardom; Judas was more of an early head banging rowdy group that was led by a charismatic singer, while Deep Purple was more commercial and an ensemble band.
