Portugal. The Man Wins ASCAP Vanguard Award

The ASCAP Awards went down the other night and there was one rock band that was happy to see how it turned out. Portugal. The Man’s 2018 is going to be a great one and that’s evident by the band winning the ASCAP Vanguard Award! They took home the honor and even performed on the night. Can you guess which hit they performed? Well, that would be “Feel It Still” of course!

The band hails from Wasilla, Alaska and has run through quite a few band members over the years. Right now there are six that call themselves Portugal. The Man: John Gourley, Kyle O’Quin, Eric Howk, Zachary Carothers, Zoe Manville and Jason Sechrist.
