The recent death of Barbara Bush this week reminded us that there was only one other Presidential mother-wife combination; that of Abigail Adams. Barbara is credited for her childhood literacy programs as First Lady. She was 92 years of age.

Dumb and Dumber actor Jeff Daniels was a guest on the guest on Conan this week, when low and behold Jim Carrey crashed the party live, bringing Lloyd and Harry back together again. Jim’s been in the news a great deal, Tweeting personal satirical paintings of the current President and his administration; yes the 1st Amendment is alive and well.

The Amy Schumer film ‘I Feel Pretty’ opens tomorrow in neighborhood theaters; it’s a comedy about a woman’s self-image. ‘Super Troopers’ make its debut on the silver screen, the continuing story of misguided state troopers who continue to make fans laugh out loud.
