The John Krasinski film A Quiet Place topped the box office earning more than $50 million, followed by Ready Player One, Blockers, Black Panther, I Can Only Imagine, Tyler Perry’s Acrimony, Chappaquiddick, Sherlock Gnomes, Pacific Rim Rising and Isle of Dogs finished out the top 10.

Actress Kate Hudson has revealed on her Instagram accounts that she and musician boyfriend Danny Fujikama is going to be parents, rumored to be a baby girl. Congratulations to them!

Kay Cannon has officially broken the glass ceiling, directing ‘Blockers’ which has proved to be a hit at the box offices. This is not her first film; rather she directed the hit “Pitch Perfect” and earned her stripes writing for 30 Rock.

Mom the CBS hit has been renewed for its sixth season, starring Anna Faris and Allison Janney. The show has topped many coveted young adult demographics.
