Saying Goodbye to the Legendary Anita Baker

One of the smoothest voices in all of music is the property of Motown’s very own Anita Baker. This Grammy winning singer/songwriter has decided to call it quits after 30 years of pouring her heart out in song, and we’re sure going to miss her. Although she may perform at select charitable events, her touring days have come to and end this year.

Anita’s first Grammy came in 1987, earning three Grammy’s, her last Grammy coming in 1996. She’s also won four American Music Awards, seven Soul Train Music, and has her very own Hollywood Walk of Fame star. Her career has come a long way since her days at the funk band Chapter 8, but she’s continued to an incredible performer and favorite daughter of the Motor City. Here are her confirmed dates for her farewell tour…
