Glenn Frey’s Above the Clouds: The Collection’ Drops in Mid-May

Although we’ve lost Glenn Frey a while ago, his solo career will get a boost with the release of a really cool box set called ‘Above the Clouds: The Collection’ dropping May 11th. ‘Above the Clouds: The Collection’ is a four-CD collection focusing on Glenn’s work as a solo artist; he was quite an accomplished performer and songwriter in his day.

Glenn grew up in the suburbs of the Motor City, befriending regional star Bob Seger, lending his background vocals to many of Bob’s early singles. He would eventually help form the Eagles, writing many of their biggest hits.

‘Above the Clouds: The Collection’ will include the songs “The Heat Is On,” “You Belong to the City,” “Smuggler’s Blues,” “Part of Me, Part of You,” and “The Allnighter.” The ‘Above the Clouds: The Collection’ the four-CD box set will be available May 11th.
