Movie producer and director Steven Spielberg has revealed that he’s planning on starting work on ‘Indiana Jones 5’ later this year, with an open date of early 2020. If history is true, this latest installment of an archaeologist from the Midwest chasing the past will be a blockbuster; the combined ‘Indiana Jones’ franchise movies have earned over $2 billion in box office receipts.

Steven was at the Rakuten TV Empire Awards to receiving a ‘Legend of Our Lifetime’ award when he made the disclosure. Harrison Ford has signed on to play the lead as expected, but no details of the ensemble have yet been disclosed. Steven’s “Ready Player One” is scheduled to open later this month, March 29th.
