Joey Lawrence Needs Money, Others That Went Broke

If you were a fan of the “Melissa and Joey,” you’ll be disappointed to hear that Joey Lawrence is broke. Joey made over $500,000 in 2015 but that figure dropped to under $75,000 in 2016, and believe it or not he and his wife have less than $10,000 in the bank, owing a tremendous amount of money. The television series “Melissa & Joey,” starring Joey and Melissa Joan Hart, was canceled in 2015.

If you remember the Burt Reynolds and Loni Anderson divorce’s 1996 divorce, you’ll also remember that the most popular actor of his time filed for bankruptcy because of the legal matter.

Mickey Rooney was worth over $15 million at the peak of his personal fortune, but a rash of divorces and bad investments caused him to file for Chapter 11 in 1962 with $500 in the bank. Sinbad, talk show king Larry King, Kim Basinger, and Wayne Newton also filed for bankruptcy at some point in their lives.
