Shaun White hit the news cycle back in 2006 when he won gold at the Torino Winter Olympics and ever since we’ve all known the talent he had. If you didn’t know what kind of snowboarder he was then he reminded you of it last night. He won gold again at the Winter Olympics, this time in PyeongChang!

White won the 2006 and 2010 gold medals before placing fourth in 2014. This was an amazing comeback story after injuring himself during a horrific crash not all that long ago. To win he completed multiple 1440s among other tricks. White had the last run of the night, so the excitement levels were through the roof!

Japan’s Ayumu Hirano would finish second after a few amazing runs himself. Bronze was won by Scotty James from Australia.
