John Mellencamp has been seen hand in hand with actress Meg Ryan over these past few months, putting down money for an apartment in New York (where Meg currently resides) but we can’t say for sure that they’re an item. What we can say for sure is that his project ‘Plain Spoken: From the Chicago Theater’ available on Netflix beginning just the other day, February 1.
‘Plain Spoken: From the Chicago Theater’ is much like a one man show, with music. In fact it’s a concert that is all about John, where he reflects on growing up in rural Indiana, playing all the hits. The concert features a special performance by Carlene Carter, and cameos by Willie Nelson (his longtime Farm Aid friend) and Dave Matthews. The special concert was filmed in October of 2016, smack dab in the middle of his ‘Plain Spoken Tour’ which stopped at over 120 cities.
