The 2018 Grammy celebration is this Sunday, January 28th in Los Angeles, a ton of your favorites will be on hand to entertain and or win!
The most common way to be associated with a Grammy is to win with a song. You may also be admitted by album, lifetimes work, songwriter and producer are a few more doors to open. There are a few artists that have never won a Grammy, and we’re perplexed as to why? Here are a few of the more obvious omissions by the Academy (in our opinion).
Brian McKnight has been nominated a stagger 19 times without a win, while on the other side of that stick, Guns N’ Roses has received three nominations without a win.
The 80s supergroup Journey has received only one nomination, which itself is a mystery, while Katy Perry has been nominated 13 times without a win. Nicki Minaj has earned 10 nominations, no wins, and the UK smash group Oasis has been nominated three times without a win.
