Last week we talked about the grassroots protests of Meryl Streep being accused of knowing more than she led us to believe regarding Hollywood’s Harvey Weinstein, and lengthy his sexual harassment, having ‘She Knew’ posters plastered throughout tinsel town.
Now, longtime friend and entertainment legend Cher is coming to Meryl’s defense by saying she has seen firsthand Meryl’s defense in the entertainment world, adding that any accusation of her passive or active support of Harvey and sexual miss-deeds are totally false. Meryl hasn’t had much support from her peers since the posters surfaced, but it’s good to know she has some defenders.
Cher made her own news this week, being named the Grand Marshall of the Sydney Australia Mardi Gras in early March, a parade that has its own flavor and style.
