Elton John may simply the most consistent, talented, and celebrated performer of our time. Grammy Hall of Fame, Songwriters Halls of Fame, over 250 million records sold, more Gold and Platinum records than we can mention, and he’s still a really nice man.
Right in front of the Grammys this year, they’ll be a concert called “I’m Still Standing: A Grammy Salute,” 8pm EST, January 30th, at the Theatre at Madison Square Garden. If you’re not lucky enough to get tickets to the show, CBS network is taping the concert and will find a night to make it a TV special.
Scheduled to appear with Elton are Miranda Lambert, John Legend, Chris Martin, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, and Kesha. Yes there are bound to be a few more surprises on stage before the end of the night.
