Just last week we talked about Lorde not performing in Israel because of potential protests that would stem from it. Well, the performance that was to happen this summer didn’t and now she’s being called a bigot in the Washington Post. Take a look here at this tweet to see a photo of the full-page ad.
You can see from the photo that the ad says “21 is young to become a bigot” as well as “Lorde and New Zealand ignore Syria to attack Isreal.”
What a tough time for Lorde as it really seems like no matter what she did she was going to get ridiculed. At this point, all she can do is move forward and learn from the situation.
