2017 was a wonderful year for film, not so much for men. We did, however, lose a few of our cherished stars; here is their shout out…

The Tom Hanks/Meryl Streep film ‘The Post’ has opened in select theaters, and the heir to the Washington-Post fortune William Graham has committed suicide, as did his very own father years ago.

Jim Nabors of Gomer Pyle fame died in 2017, as did Sam Shepard, Dick Gregory and ‘Home Alone’ dad John Heard. Benson star Robert Guillaume, Playboy magazine publisher, and founder Hugh Hefner passed, as did legendary character actor Harry Dean Stanton. Murphy Brown star Jay Thomas moved on, as did Jerry Lewis,

Della Reese, David Cassidy died, as did Charlie Murphy, Bill Paxton, and Adam West. Bond’s Roger Moore, Powers Boothe, the iconic Mary Tyler Moore, and Don Rickles all died in 2017. Happy Day’s Erin Moran left us in 2017, as did the Gong Show’s Chuck Barris, Judge Wapner, and legendary actor John Hurt.
