The 1979 film Norma Rae starring Sally Field was a Hollywood box office winner, earning more than five Oscar nominations. Rosanne Cash is now working on taking this Hollywood script to musical. If you were to pick a film or play to turn into a musical, Norma Rae would indeed receive strong consideration.

Rosanne is the oldest slaughter of the late Johnny Cash; although she earned countless awards (four Grammy’s to name a few) she’s never headed a project like this before.

Her biggest song on the pop charts was “Seven Year Ache” from 1981, while her latest effort is called “The River and the Thread.” Her 2018 schedule has been published with confirmed dates, and we’re sure she’ll add more soon.

January 25th, Edmonds, WA
January 26th, Bellingham, WA
January 27th, Federal Way, WA
January 29th, Olympia, WA
February 3rd, New York, NY
