The group Simple Minds was a terrific band from Glasgow, hitting the charts with “Don’t You (Forget About Me)” made famous in the closing credits of the 1985 movie ‘The Breakfast Club.’ The boys in the band were nominated for an American Music, MTV, and Brit Awards in the 80s, they had been relegated to brief tours and 80s festivals… Until now!

Simple Minds and The Pretenders have agreed to headline a large outdoor music festival in the UK in August of 2018, as part of the Grandslam series. This live event will be the biggest tour stop for Simple Minds in years.

Simple Minds is about to release one of the more adventurous LPs in some time, called ‘Walk Between Worlds,’ featuring original music. The album drops February 2nd, 2018 and is already catching the ears of critics and fans.
