Bon Jovi, Dire Straits, The Cars, The Moody Blues and Nina Simone are now members of the Roll and Roll Hall of Fame!
Most of the new members are familiar to us with the exception of Nina, who spent her life as a singer-songwriter and conscience of the deep south, releasing great songs like “To Be Young, Gifted and Black.” Nina died in 2003 at the age of 70.
Congratulations to The Moody Blues, Cars, Bon Jovi, Nina and Dire Straits for making it to the promised land – the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The actual induction ceremony will be held in April of 2018 in Cleveland.
