John Mayer underwent an emergency appendectomy just the other day and we’re happy to hear that he’s doing just fine. The surgery went well and thus he should be fine moving forward. He took to Twitter afterward to say thanks and let everyone know he was ok.
He wrote, “Thank you everyone for the well wishes. Had surgery yesterday and woke up to see some amazingly kind and loving tweets. I’m so sorry that we couldn’t finish out the last few dates of the tour. This band and these shows mean the world to me. Love you all dearly.” Mayer brought up the Dead & Company tour that he was on and like he said, the remaining dates have been postponed. Thankfully, there were only two left.
