Princess Leia’s Friends Remember Her Dearly

We’re coming up on the one year anniversary of the death of one of American’s treasures, Hollywood’s own Carrie Fisher. Recently in Los Angeles, the women of The Last Jedi attended a dinner remembering Carrie, sharing stores and antidotes about their personal experiences with Carrie. Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Daisy Ridley, and Laura Dern were a few of the ladies that had remarkable tales to tell at the event.

Here are a few things you may not have known about Carrie; sure we know that she was once married to singer Paul Simon, but did you know that she was also once engaged to comedian Dan Aykroyd? She and co-star Harrison Ford had a 90-day affair in 1976 during the filming of Star Wars. Carrie had only one child, actress Billie Lourde, appearing in two Star Wars films and the upcoming 2018 ‘Billionaire Boys Club.’

The upcoming Star Wars film ‘The Last Jedi’ was Carrie’s last project before her untimely death, expected to hit local theaters December 14th.
