Beyonce Presents Award Winner

The Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year Awards took place the other night and there were so many great people honored for what they’ve done in the past year. One of those people was Colin Kaepernick, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback that led them to the NFL Championship game a few years back. Well, things have changed for him and he’s more well-known for his protesting of the NFL.

His civil rights work has been recognized by many in the past year or so and one of those people is Beyonce. When Kaepernick was awarded wth the Muhammad Ali Legacy Award, it was Beyonce who presented it to him. You can see a brief look at her introducing him by clicking here.
