Although Hollywood and most of America has been rocked by the inappropriate behavior of men, 2017 was a banner year for movies. Julia Roberts returned to the silver screen with ‘Wonder,’ ‘Baby Driver’ introduced rising star Ansel Elgort, and ‘The Big Sick’ and ‘Coco’ rocked the box office. We did sadly lose a few of our favorite stars. Let’s remember a few…

Jim Nabors of Gomer Pyle fame died in 2017, as did Benson star Robert Guillaume, Playboy magazine publisher and founder Hugh Hefner passed, as did legendary character actor Harry Dean Stanton. Murphy Brown star Jay Thomas moved on, as did Jerry Lewis, Sam Shepard, Dick Gregory and Home Alone dad John Heard.

Adam West of Batman died at 88, Bond’s Roger Moore, Powers Boothe, the iconic Mary Tyler Moore, Don Rickles, Charlie Murphy and Bill Paxton all died in 2017. Happy Day’s Erin Moran left us in 2017, as did the Gong Show’s Chuck Barris, Judge Wapner, and legendary actor John Hurt.

Thanks to each and every one of these talented performers, they will be genuinely missed.
