The world is upside down, and we have a front-row seat. In what can only be described as a bombshell, ‘Today’ show host and NBC star Matt Lauer has been fired for inappropriate sexual behavior. Although details are incomplete, it appears that a colleague has made a complaint about Matt’s behavior; no less than 40 hours later (after meetings with legal) Matt Lauer was relieved of his duties.

For over 20 years Matt has been the rock of 30 Rock’s ‘Today’ show, earning millions of dollars being the face of NBC mornings. His co-stars Savannah and Hoda tearfully read a statement disclosing the decision by NBC live on air.

Charlie Rose, Billy Bush, reporter Glenn Thrush, Harvey Weinstein, ‘Morning Joe’ co-star Mark Halperin, and actor Keven Spacey have all been disciplined in various degrees over the last 90 days. Unfortunately, Matt Lauer joins this list.

Matt Lauer had been the cornerstone of the highly rated NBC ‘Today’ morning show for 20 years.
