In what can only be described as retro-success, the group Bananarama is currently on an extensive European tour that finds this all-female group selling out venues night after night.
Bananarama began their musical journey in 1981, forming in London. Gal pals Siobhan Fahey, Sara Dallin, and Keren Woodward were this magical group. “Cruel Summer,” “Venus,” and “I Heard a Rumour” were top selling songs from this all-female group, selling over 40 million records, earning them a position in the ‘Top Selling Girl Groups’ of all time. How successful were they” How about selling more records than the Supremes and Pointer Sisters!
In what’s being called ‘The Original Line Up, North America Tour’ the band will perform in 2018 in Los Angeles February 20th, San Francisco on February 21st, and in New York City February 24th.
